PRIVACY POLICY (Mopeso)
1. Document Purpose & Regulatory Framework
Welcome to Mopeso, an advanced digital financing platform dedicated to providing secured, efficient, and transparent consumer credit alternatives. This application is owned, administered, and officially run by MAGKONO FINANCING COMPANY INCORPORATED, a corporate financial institution incorporated under the regulatory provisions of the Republic of the Philippines, holding SEC Registration Number CS201910762 and Certificate of Authority No. 1225.
Mopeso places the confidentiality of our users at the center of our operational values. This policy serves as a legal notice outlining how we obtain, structure, evaluate, maintain, and eventually eliminate your personal details. All system mechanisms adhere fundamentally to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and the data tracking directives enforced by the Google Play Developer program.
2. Framework of Collected Data
To run our automated scoring system and execute instant credit validations, Mopeso structures personal information processing into two separate channels:
A. Direct Profile Contributions
When you create an account or initiate a loan evaluation cycle, you are required to submit the following particulars:
- Identity & Demographics: Complete legal name, date of birth, gender assignment, status of marriage, and educational history.
- Communication Access: Verified mobile operating network numbers, active email configurations, and complete residential locations.
- Financial & Occupation Status: Industry category, specific employer title, recorded monthly revenue brackets, and chosen payment settlement details (including registered bank networks or established Electronic Wallet accounts).
- State Documentation: Clear photographic captures of valid government-issued identity cards along with their corresponding alphanumeric sequences.
- Designated Co-signers/References: Targeted identity info (name, familial/professional relationship, and mobile contact number) hand-selected by you to serve as administrative points of verification.
B. Supplemental Data from External Systems
With your verified approval, Mopeso may cross-reference your records with registered credit registries, state-accredited credit bureaus, fraud-prevention databases, and identity verification services. This information helps validate your profile integrity and detect structural fraud patterns or identity theft attempts.
3. Operational Permissions & Technical Tracking
To maintain stability and security within the Android ecosystem, Mopeso requests access to specific device utilities. These features are only accessed once you provide distinct authorization through system-level request prompts:
- Camera Interface (CAMERA): Utilized exclusively to conduct real-time biometric liveness verification (KYC fraud-mitigation) and to capture physical identity cards. Our infrastructure is restricted from browsing, extracting, or accessing pre-existing media galleries, personal image files, or storage folders.
- Reference Selection (Custom UI Protocol): Users manually pick up to five (5) individuals from their device database to act as emergency/administrative contacts. Mopeso utilizes an isolated selection framework; we never download, duplicate, or inspect your master contact directory or comprehensive phonebook database.
- Geographical Tracking (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Records network and GPS satellite tracking points during active application interactions. This confirms that service actions remain inside the legal borders of the Philippines and helps identify suspicious remote account access. Ongoing or background location monitoring is completely disabled.
- Application Metadata Audit: Collects basic structural metrics regarding installed mobile packages (package signatures, version indexes, and setup timestamps). This allows our security layer to evaluate the device environment for automated attack programs, systemic debt-evasion software, or unauthorized app cloning environments, without reading any data within those apps.
- Data Transmission Status (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Audits active network carrier statuses, connection reliability, and device IP assignments to block distributed automated attacks, optimize protocol routing, and secure data pipelines.
- Advertising Index tracking (AD_ID): Tracks the standard Google Advertising Identifier to analyze the performance of acquisition channels and screen for inorganic web traffic. You maintain the ability to modify or restrict this index at any moment within your Android System Settings.
4. Encryption Standards & Data Routing
All informational assets processed through the Mopeso client-side architecture are secured using enterprise-grade 128-bit Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) dynamic encryption protocols. Data is transmitted exclusively to our secure production environment via verified gateways located at https://api.mopeso.com.
Once received by our server architecture, files are stored within walled cloud networks protected by automated firewalls, intrusion prevention monitors, and restricted multi-factor access rules. These configurations safeguard your personal assets against malicious data leaks, unauthorized alterations, or external technical breaches.
5. Objectives of Data Evaluation
Mopeso processes data strictly for necessary business frameworks. These actions are limited to the following responsibilities:
- Risk Calibration: Processing financial parameters to calculate loan parameters and update dynamic risk metrics.
- User Authentication: Operating Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity checks to confirm user truthfulness and review anti-fraud databases.
- Security & Audits: Analyzing system behavior logs to mitigate malicious activities, automated software manipulation, and identity takeovers.
- Platform Communications: Issuing vital status summaries, transaction alerts, and legal notifications via encrypted network delivery channels.
- Statutory Compliance: Adhering to reporting requirements mandated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the National Privacy Commission (NPC), and the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
6. Information Dissemination Policies
Mopeso will never sell, distribute, or rent your personal profile to marketing brokers. External disclosures are conducted strictly under organized legal or operational agreements:
- Statutory Demand: Immediate routing to enforcement agencies, judicial departments, or state bodies (such as the SEC or NPC) upon receipt of an authorized subpoena or legal mandate.
- Contracted Operations Support: Sharing minimal data subsets with audited technical vendors (such as specialized SMS carriers, certified KYC providers, and authorized collection groups) operating under non-disclosure obligations.
- Credit Reporting: Delivering repayment metrics to centralized credit platforms as required under Philippine financing guidelines.
7. Account Deactivation & Lifespan Management
We retain user records only for the duration necessary to satisfy existing loan contracts, resolve financial ledger records, or meet statutory documentation laws under Philippine financing regulations.
Profile Removal Directive: Users can initiate an official request for permanent data deletion by sending an application notice to our service team at cs@mopeso.com.
Please be informed that profile deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you have outstanding credit balances or active payment liabilities, the deletion request will be deferred. Your user files must be legally preserved until all financial liabilities are fully paid and verified by our auditing system.
8. Consumer Data Rights
Pursuant to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, users hold clear statutory privileges concerning their personal records. You can exercise the following options at any time:
- Right to be Informed: Inquire about the logic, distribution, and operational status of your collected data.
- Right to Rectification: Mandate immediate corrections to erroneous, outdated, or incomplete details in your account profile.
- Right to Object: Discontinue data processing actions connected to secondary company actions, including promotional alerts or marketing campaigns.
- Right to Redress: Claim legal remedies or submit formal grievances to the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you suspect unauthorized data processing or a privacy violation.
9. Adjustments to This Document
Mopeso evaluates and modifies this Privacy Policy to ensure alignment with new statutory laws, mobile operating platform updates, and risk mitigation strategies. When revisions occur, the "Last Updated" value at the top of this notice will be modified, and clear notifications will be delivered through the application layout or via your verified communication endpoints. Continued engagement with the service signifies acknowledgement of the revised terms.
